Calculations for Heart Diseases and Cancer due to Height

  1. The method of calculation is identical to the Calculations for Stroke due to height.
  2. However, only data for men is available. Thus, women are excluded in the calculations and are simply assumed to have a relative risk of 1.
  3. The relative risk per 5cm increase in height for Heart Diseases is 0.82; and for Cancer is 0.93.
